Howdy folks,
Yup it that time again. Time for Nat's birthday & variety show. There will be real actual Happy Brigaders performing there! Really, I'm not making this up :)

With the news that Zac has left Hot Buttered Rum, a lot of people were bummed to not see him play again. I found out that he will be playing at the NKCC, but in what capacity I am not sure. With song, dance, burlesque, dog tricks, botanizing (not sure what is entailed there either) dubhop, vids, just about anything could happen. But just to be clear, there won't be an HBR "reunion" as Bryan the bass player will be out of town.

Who WILL be there - There will be appearances from other members of HBR, Poor Man's Whiskey, (love those crazy guys!) the David Grisman Quintet, New Monsoon, Everyone Orchestra, etc...

Besides the regular standing room, I think that there might be seats at tables left too. If you can swing it, that is the way to go to get that real cabaret feel. And if you really want to swankify, you can go for the patron's dinner. That's patron, not PatrĂ³n, but I understand there will be some of that there too. You will dine on a fantabulous dinner whipped up by chef Angela (www.forkfull.org/) (another genuine HB'er :) and it affords a great opportunity to hang with the performers before hand and then sit back & enjoy the show.

However you decide to partake, it is sure to be a fun experience!
